Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

Video not the greatest, but lots of pitches to see. Would like to see some slow motion but his motion seems less high-effort than his HS delivery. Good movement on the FB, nice hook.

Always

liked Baseball-Intellect. Good info. This write-up suggests that Taillon is on his way to great things. That’s good to hear. Just needs to refine and improve his change-up.

I hope this guy’s right about Taillon’s fastball command and movement. When I saw him pitch a couple weeks ago, every fastball he threw got blasted. The hitters couldn’t touch the curve, but the FB wasn’t getting by anybody.

When

I saw him back in early July (his start at home versus Lexington) his command looked very sharp, as seen in this video. Painting corners, etc. The fastball was swing and miss, and as you said, no one could touch the curve.

After that start, and before this one he had a few bad starts. I’ll chalk it up to him hitting a rough stretch, etc. His season has been phenomenal thus far.

Video shows why ....

we need to be calm about minor league pitching performance. The defense behind Taillon was awful, and the umpiring spotty.

Does anyone know when the next time he's starting?

Would love to go down to WV and see him pitch. Haven’t been down to that ballpark in years when the Pirates were afflicated with Hickory tn the SAL.
