The first name jumped out at me -- Conor Jackson has been playing pretty poorly overall but hits lefties well. That sounds like it might be what we need to fill the Matt Diaz-shaped hole as a righty corner/platoon bench player.* As an upcoming free agent seems like he might be available for one of our Rule 5 crunch guys. What do you think? *Fun fact: Jackson has two home runs this year. That doubles the combined total of every player who started last night's game on the bench.
