Rudy Owens' season just got worse. The broadcasters at the game just announced that Owens is on the minor-league DL with "shoulder soreness and fatigue." I'm guessing his season is over; hopefully it's nothing more serious than that.
Owens pitched seven shutout innings against Rochester on July 24, but allowed five runs in each of his two starts since then.
