And Ross Ohlendorf officially recalled to start tonight's game. I have no qualms with this. Beimel was mediocre at best. UPDATE by Charlie: Even at best, "mediocre" is pretty generous. He pitched short stints because he was supposed to be pitching mostly against lefties, and yet he allowed a .798 OPS against them. Against righties, he allowed a 1.027 OPS. That's pretty awful for a guy who's only pitching two-thirds of an inning per outing.
