McLouth probably done for season.
Nate McLouth had sports hernia surgery and will be out at least six weeks.
Can you like imagine how much better off this team would be with McLouth and without Morton, Locke and Gorkys? This team would be amazingly awesomely epicly good and in first place probably.
I mean, Nate McLouth is an All-Star and Gold Glove winner. McCutchen is only one of those just barely....
Just can't replace the sheer greatness that is Nate McLouth!

Nor should any, really. Unless my ability to sniff out internet facetiousness is actually a highly sought skill.
Thank you Ned Colletti.

Don't you think that sarcasm loses its bite
when you add that tag?
It always makes me suspect that the writer is afraid to be perceived as stupid by readers too dense to at least suspect that the comment is not altogether serious.
of course the sarcasim looses its bite
but what the op is getting at is that this is another reason why we should be glad we dealt him and his bad hair…and apparently his hernia too

Also likely done
as a Brave. That whole experience was a huge failure. His 2012 option looks completely ridiculous now. I can’t imagine there’s a huge free agent market for a 30 year old coming off a two year stretch where he hit .210 with a .650 OPS either.
We can get him back!!!!
And this All-Star Gold Glover can lead us to the World Series. We can trade McCuchen, he’s not a gold glover.
So onto my love rocket, climb, Inside tank of fuel is not fuel, but love.
