Ricky Nolasco on the market?
"Ricky Nolasco appeared to be off-limits as recently as July, but the Marlins may have changed their stance on the righty. The team will give serious thought to trading Nolasco this offseason, a source who spoke to a front office member told Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The biggest issue with Nolasco is his performance...."

Intriguing
His performance has kind of dipped the last few years with the K/9 going down. On the other hand, he still might be better than some in-house options the Bucs have.
if you were the Bucs FO
what would you be willing to give up for him?

Not a ton.
He’s basically on a market-value deal for the next two years, so you aren’t buying a lot of marginal value once you get past the cost of his contract itself. A B- prospect or two C/C+ types, with us picking up all his money.
That might or might not get it done, of course.
I've been a Nolasco fan for a while
I think he’s a good candidate to have a bounce-back year. He’s also suffered through some pretty bad and also controversy-filled Florida teams, so a change of scenery might do him good.
For the record, I’d definitely feel better handing him the ball than Correia. And while I don’t think his ceiling is as high as Morton or McDonald, he’s generally more consistent.
but would the Marlins give him up as they open their new stadium?
i could see them ridding themselves of Morrison, but not anyone else right now
