It's Official Yoenis Cespedes is a free agent
Keep hearing that we are in on him, but it's a long shot. Would love to see us follow through on this

Part of me would like to pursue Cespedes
but if he’s really looking for $60M+ as reported, that would mark a huge commitment to a guy that has never played in the majors. At this point, I’m hoping more for a run at Soler who would be cheaper, fits more with the organization’s prospects-first approach than a big money ML free agent, and has compared favorably with Leonys Martin. C’mon Soler and E-Jax…c’mon*!
*Let’s be honest, neither of those will actually happen…
theres no way we are in on this guy.
we won’t commit to cutch for this much, and he has a positive track record. IMO.
Please show me an article
that says we won’t commit that much money to Andrew McCutchen. Because I guarantee you we would sign him to that kind of deal

Dude
That was September. Who knows where they are now?
The glare of the spotlight is harsh, and the pressure that success breeds immense. We revere our heroes, but expect much. And criticism can come as easily as praise.
Perspectives become reality.

i agree with you
but i think internal value does not.
i hope he retires a buc., but sports just are not like that anymore.

Even if
the Bucs were going to spend that kind of money on one guy, it shouldn’t be him. Dude will be 27 by the time he has one year of pro american baseball under his belt. Way too much of a risk.
Well
Want…just not for the length or price, haha.
