This is going to be the last time I post the poll. If someone else wants to take up the mantle and keep it going, please do so. If not, I'll post some sort of wrap-up in the next couple days, which we can use to discuss the system in general and everyone who didn't make the list.

Hard work always beats talent if talent doesn't work hard.

just voting for the underdog, I guess (in that he’s played well, but no one seems to think he has a real shot)

Glasnow

since this is probably the last poll I may as well try to make some sort of an argument for my guy. So first off, he’s huge. At 6’7" and right handed, he was a shoe-in to be drafted by the Pirates. Currently topping out in the low 90’s he’s also listed around 200 lbs and he will only be 18 this season. He’s also got the pedigree to go along with his impressive frame. His mother was a gymnast and his brother is a college decathlete. Glasnow also made the California all-state team and hails from the same high school as James Shields and Trevor Bauer.

He’s already got the size, athleticism, and fastball to succeed. All he needs now is age and experience to get comfortable in his body and to add weight/strength. The additional command and velocity would propel him into a top 15 prospect for next year.

Elvis Escobar

I think he should be in the theoretical poll #31 because his name is pretty cool and he’s the cousin of both Kelvim and Alcides Escobar, which is also pretty cool. Also, it creates the .0000000001 % chance that we have an outfield consisting of Elvis and Presley some day.
