The Pirates have officially announced seven minor league signings. Except . . . five of them we already knew about: Darren Ford, Jared Goedert, Kris Johnson, Stefan Welch and Anderson Hernandez. They also brought back Jeff Larish. The one bit of news, then, is RHP Ryan Reid, who's been with the Rays since 2006 as a reliever. He had his first good year in a while in 2012, in AAA, posting a 1.3 WHIP and 9.0 K/9.
