Listening to the baseball channel on XM just now, on my way home from work. Host talking about Arizona's signing of
Cody Ross, suggesting they might yet trade Upton even though they've tried to (at least publicly) play nice about him and say both sides (D'backs and Upton) are cool with everything. Then, talking about how much the
Rangers have wanted Upton, and are probably wishing they had pulled the trigger on a deal when they could have.
With Arizona having gotten a shortstop now, trading Bauer to get him, it occurred to me... What is the possibility of a three-way deal where the main pieces are Cole or Taillon to AZ, Upton to Texas, and a Ranger shortstop back to us? I'm not experienced in these brainstorms, and it would probably take a few other small pieces here or there to balance things, but what do you think? Something like this remotely possible? If so, would it be a good thing?
First post, so be gentle. (just kidding - I can take it. lol)
