I think it could be a good move, depending on price of course. High strikeout guy moving to an easier league. Best case scenario he bounces back or even stays the same and proves to be better than Correia. Worst case he flames out and spends his time on the bench telling Cutch and Pedro how great the cost of living here is compared to NYC.

Because we are at the top of his no trade list

woe is pirates
He would gobble innings though and probably look lights out half the time

Pittsburgh is not on his 10 team no trade list per Rosenthal.

dunno

If I had that much money, the cost of living wouldn’t bother me as much, so the positive things about NYC would loom larger — though it’s not too likely that Cutch and Pedro would be as psyched as me about being close to the Cornelia Street Cafe and Butch Morris Night at the Stone.

The Yankees are trying to clear space for Eric Chavez? Are they filling out their DL platoon?

$33m a lot of cheese, but for Mrs. Burnett alone, I’d probably say yes

actually that link might explain why the Bucs aren't on Burnett's no-trade list

If his wife lives in Baltimore and is afraid of flying, PIttsburgh might not be such a bad place for him.
