2012 Astros The Worst Team Ever Projected
Whee! It's going to be fun having the Astros in the division for one last year. It will, however, be pretty embarrassing if the Pirates find a way to finish behind them.
Also, the 2009 Pirates figure pretty prominently in this article, and not in a good way.

Well, this just about guarantees we lose every game we play in Houston this year.
Occupy MLB! Down with Seligula!
haha :( yes
last year – “we’re in first place and all we have to do is clean up on the basement dwelling Padres and Cubs!!!” – boom swept season over Jerry Meals. #BUCN
but
did’t the astros play better baseball the pirates in the last 70 or so games last year and they played us pretty tuff in the second half of the season. just sayin
"please buy the team mr. cuban"
Didn't they have a lot of rookies playing at that point?
Aside from the usual wariness of September results, I feel like lately when it comes to prospects moving up they catch everyone off guard and are great at first and then in their second year the empire strikes back.

19th Best?
Can somebody explain to me – in English, preferably using less than 50 words – why that guy cares about who the 19th best team (per projections) will be? I read the linked article supposedly offering an explanation, but the jist of the article seems to be drowned out by “creativity”.
Both pieces are poorly written, but that’s a different subject.
Thank you in advance.
Good day.
Yeah, no idea
I kept waiting for the 19th best thing to show… something, but it just didn’t. Oh well.
I thought it was meant to be a goof.
Not actually affiliated with whygavs.

Without having read the linked article, mind you,
my first guess would be “Ruh-roh! Deadline – I have to write something.”

my 2 cents
is that Jeff Sullivan sometimes attempts Grant Brisbee type pieces. They usually turn out like this. He has written some good stuff too, though.
