It's getting to be that time of the year when some possibly washed-up pitchers begin to get released, so the question becomes: are the Pirates pretty happy with what they have in camp, or do they take a flier on a pitching veteran to try and add some depth (with question marks surrounding Morton and Burnett, and Hurdle's seeming unhappiness with McDonald)?

I've just been reading about the releases of Carlos Silva, Joel Pineiro, and Dontrelle Willis which have all happened in the the last day or so.

Personally, I see the Pirates possibly bringing in a guy like one of those on a minor league contract in the next week to give them a few more options.
