I think the title of this article is a bit misleading. In reading it, I don't get the sense that the Pirates are "missing out." If they are going to make $20-25 million per year going forward for the life of the deal and share in the money that other teams make, that seems reasonable for the Western Pennsylvania market. Nontheless, the economics of the game are certainly changing. Again.
