Reliever Market

I have stated before that I felt the Pirates have always done a good job of not overvaluing relief pitching. They have also done a good job of finding teams who do overvalue it. The way our team is set up now, I would expect the Pirates to at the very least make a deal like Veras for Magee. I think that we have so much depth in department that it is inevitable that we make a move. With the need for closers around the league, I expect Hanny to be the first guy to go. It wont be popular but it is the right move.

Currently. Hanrahan, Cruz, Resop, Grili, Hughes, Watson, Meek

Injured. Leroux,

Minors. Morris, Wilson, Moskos, Owens, Alderson, Slaten

Cruz is showing that he could step into the closer role, and I would like to see Wilson there.

There is enough depth, that I hope the stock keeps rising on some of these guys and we don't miss the boat on this situation.
