Got a chance to see Bradenton last night

Carlos Paulino was impressive, even though he's not been hitting much so far. His actions behind the plate were very athletic and nothing got through him. His arm looks strong and accurate. He also had a couple of hits. Just an impressive package.

Colton Cain had a good fastball, though I did not get a reading. There was no scoreboard gun, and only one gun in the crowd that I saw. His curve was working, and it looked as though he was throwing a couple of variants. He was effective, but not overpowering. He'll probably have to add something to succeed at higher levels.

Drew Maggi has a nice stroke. He's fast, but he did not seem to have game changing speed. Though he made no mistakes, I was having trouble seeing him as a major league shortstop.

Evan Chambers truly smoked a ball for a triple. It doesn't seem that he's really changed his approach. He always seemed to be hitting with two strikes. Like Maggi, he's fast, but his speed does not seem game changing.

Alex Dickerson looks like a professional hitter. He showed a good eye at the plate and decent power. He stole a base, showing good running speed. He made no mistakes at first, but did not look very smooth.

Remember the name Isaac Galloway. He was playing right for Jupiter and had very impressive actions (including a home run off Cain).

Anyone with differing impressions from other games?
