Why are so many people on this site calling for Starling Marte to be called up to replace Jose Tabata? This is just rediculous....Let's be glad that the Nationals are rushing Harper tonight but come on...Marte needs more time and why are so many people ready to give up on Tabata? Let's remember something....They are the same age!!!! So Tabata was tearing up AAA Indianapolis at 2 years younger than Marte is now. Actually he was putting up very similar numbers only with a better bb/k rate. Also, why would you want to platoon our 23 year old outfielder after an 11 for 55 start to the season.....He goes 3 for 4 tonight and he will raise his average 38 points! A slow start is slightly discouraging but not all that unpredictable...This past offseason was the first in his career that he didn't play winterball and he had 2 tough injuries last year to over come. It is just laughable that some fans are calling for Marte/Presley/McCutchen to be our 1,2,3. Tabata needs to show better plate discipline, but he already has much better than marte or presley! Watch the games folks! Tabata has been getting either hits or outs with alot of 3 ball counts! Lets go JOSE!!!! Jooosee, Jose Jose Jose, Joosee, JOOSEEE! JOSE CHANT!!!!!
