LHP Daniel Moskos has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.— Pittsburgh Pirates (@Pirates) April 3, 2012
The Pirates have shipped Danny Moskos to Indianapolis, in their continued effort to get down to 25 players in the least surprising order possible. Tony Watson appears to have won the job as the Pirates' bullpen lefty, and with all the Bucs' right-handed relief, there's really no good reason for the team to carry two lefties. If I'm counting correctly, this means there are 28 players left in camp, with two (A.J. Burnett and Charlie Morton) likely headed to the disabled list. That means the last two spots are down to Chris Leroux, Jared Hughes and Matt Hague. I'd bet on Leroux and Hague to win them.
