MLB might eliminate 'fake to third throw to first' play

This is the first I'd heard that the rule was under review. Apparently, the owners want to get rid of it but the players union wants more time. Whenever I see this play, I can't help but remember Jason Bay getting fooled on a fake to third throw to first play. It was the year where he almost set the record for most stolen bases in a year without getting caught. At the time, he already had the record in hand and just needed to get through the last few games
