UPDATE: Several folks have already pointed out that the Pirates recalled Gorkys Hernandez for this series and then didn't start him at all. That's interesting, in that it suggests that the Pirates themselves didn't feel like anyone in Indianapolis could really help their offense in Pittsburgh, which of course is by far the worst in the league. Either that, or they really, really didn't want to make a 40-man roster move for some reason.
