Howdy, everyone. I hope you all are well and that you'll be able to enjoy your respective Memorial Day weekends. I created this FanPost (and indeed, my account at Bucs Dugout all together) because my Memorial Day weekend will be spent out in Pittsburgh. It will be my first time in town.
As a longtime baseball fan, I'm rather thrilled about finally getting the chance to see PNC Park for myself. I'll be going to the game on both Saturday and Sunday, but don't actually leave town until next Tuesday. That's where you all come in.
If you're so inclined, could you give me some recommendations for where to eat and what to see? I'll be staying downtown and won't be renting a car, but I'm more than happy to take a bus or a taxi just about anywhere. I usually avoid touristy things (meaning I'm more tempted to check out Schenley Park than the Andy Warhol Museum), but I'm open-minded. Whether it's in Squirrel Hill, Mt. Washington, or anywhere in between, if you enjoy it, I'd love to know about it. (Particularly if it's pizza or beer related.)
My thanks in advance to anyone who replies. If any of you will be going to either Saturday or Sunday's game, mention it and I'll buy you a beer for your hospitality. Really. Thanks, everyone.
