A smorgasbord this time: Updates on Jeff Karstens and Chris Leroux; a look ahead at Adam LaRoche, the Bryce Harper / Cole Hamels story, and the Washington Nationals in general; Charlie Morton's mechanics; the Pirates' lack of walks; and Jose Tabata and Pirates basestealing.
Here's where I got the Bobby Jenks quote.
UPDATE from David: Re our conversation on the podcast, Cole Hamels has just been suspended five games and fined for intentionally throwing at Bryce Harper. The lesson here is MLB isn't going to suspend or fine based on an assumption of intent, but go ahead and admit it and you are going to pay.
