Why not offer the A's a couple of bats for recently DFA'd Kila Kaihue? Stick him at 1B and give him a legit shot to stick on the roster. He would be a much better option than the powerless Hague. I could see him easily hitting 20+ HR with enough at bats and the right opportunity. His raw power is impressive and he is still young enough to have many solid seasons. The Royals left this guy in the minors too long and when they finally gave him a shot there was too much pressure and positional depth for him to succeed. (Billy Butler and Eric Hosmer) As a result, Kila was pressing at the plate big time and tanked. The A's played musical chairs at 1B and never gave him a serious look. I would give him a mulligan. Your thoughts???
