This guy is definitely my new favorite minor leaguer to follow, best name in the system, easily. I vaguely remember hearing about signing a kid from Belarus, and he made his pro debut last night for the GCL Pirates.
He signed for $90K and just turned 18 a couple weeks ago. Right-hander, 6' 4" and skinny as hell at 160 pounds.
He retired the side with no hits and 1K, not bad considering his background.
Anybody have any insight on what kind of stuff our young comrade throws?
