Liam Hendriks vs. James McDonald, 7:05 p.m. I think Hendriks has a good chance of being a decent mid- to back-of-the-rotation pitcher at some point, but right now, this is a great matchup for the Bucs. Hendriks carved up the minors with excellent control. But he only had 16 career Class AAA starts, and this year he's finding that life in the big leagues isn't easy for a righty with 90 MPH velocity, despite the good control and the good changeup. He's allowed an amazing eight home runs in 23 innings so far this season. There's bad luck in that, but he also has a very high line drive rate of 27.1 percent, so he's really getting hit hard.
