The hitting coach Moss is talking about is Jeff Branson, who he worked with in Indianapolis in 2010. With a dramatic change being made in his approach and dramatic improvement coming as a result, I think there are legitimate questions as to whether the Pirates should have worked to keep him in the organization. Of course the Phillies can be asking the same question, as he put up solid numbers last year in Leigh Valley.
