If there is one team that has been as aggressive as the Pirates in the draft over the last few years, it's the Nats. According to BA's draft calculator the Nats have a lot of money to spend on the #16 pick which has a slot value of $2.125. This will be interesting to watch because Giolito would be a huge get for the Nats and could, in a small way, impact the Pirates negotiations with #8 pick Mark Appel.
