Hey all, I'm working on a big project about what it means to be a fan of a team that has had 19 straight losing seasons. So I'm looking for your opinions. If you could pick one word to describe yourself as a Pirates fan, what would it be and why? I don't just want the regulars, either -- if you're just a lurker and you have a different view than most of the commenters, I'd love to hear about that too. I won't be able to reply to all of your answers, but I really appreciate your input. I'll probably follow this fanshot up later on with a couple others asking slightly different questions.
