Pirates Option Evan Meek
The Pirates have optioned Evan Meek to Triple-A Indianapolis; the team also intends to recall outfielder Starling Marte tomorrow.

This isn't a huge surprise; you can think of this as a move to clear space for Wandy Rodriguez. With Starling Marte also joining the team tomorrow, the Pirates will have to make another move, presumably involving a position player.
