I've seen a lot of posts lately about trade ideas so instead of posting numerous different fanposts post your ideas in the comments of this.

I personally am buying into the idea of trading for Yunel Escobar. If we gave up Tabata and maybe a mid- level pitching prospect. He would be a huge upgrade over barmes defensively and offensively. Escobar has been underachieving this season offensively and I think a fresh start in the national league will do well for him. I have no concern for his character "issues" because I think being on a winning team will give him a good attitude.

Not a huge fan of a Willingham trade because he is pretty old at 33 and his numbers this season are above his career averages so I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit a slump soon.

Im also not seeing any pitchers that we could acquire to give us a significant upgrade without giving up a top prospect which I would hate to do especially if this season falls apart.
