Man…You gotta think that Jose Tabata would be able to help this ball club right now….He’s batting .304 in AAA, hopefully learned his lesson, and would be the best defensive option we could have in right field now. If Walker is hurt, he could bat 2nd. Also look at the team as a whole, even if you wanted to have Jones in right and Sanchez at 1st….Would you rather have Mercer, or Harrison, or Tabata pinch hitting? I mean dang….Even if he isn’t a future above average regular (which i obviously think he still has the potential to be) he could/SHOULD definitely be helping us right NOW!!!! Not to mention he could give Marte, a guy who has never played over 135 games in a year a break in left once a week. CALL HIM UP!!!! Tabata has over 900 at bats experience in the bigs, he can get on base at a higher rate right now than Marte (because he doesn't walk), Sanchez, Barajas, (whomever at SS), and Pedro.....THAT's half of our lineup!!! Plus I miss the Jose chant! BRING HIM BACK....before we fall into a complete collapse like we did last year.
