I guess we could've used a minor league thread tonight, but it's a little late for that. FWIW, Phil Irwin right now has nine Ks thru six IP. Unfortunately, he's up to 95 pitches so he probably won't be around much longer. In fact, he just came out.
I saw (sort of) two more GCL games today, the last seven innings of yesterday's suspended game and the regularly scheduled game, which was shortened to seven innings. The guy who stood out (although he got a rest in the second game today) was SS Max Moroff. He really works the count and makes hard contact. He looked good in the field, although oddly I mostly saw him get chances in the air. Two pitchers who struck me as interesting: Martires Cadet (lefty with good curve) and Bryton Trepagnier (projectable righty who actually seems to have gained velo this year, up to 92-93).
