Are drastic changes really necessary?

With ZERO off-season acquisitions, is this line-up good enough to compete for a play-off spot next year?

LF Marte

RF Snider / Tabata

CF Cutch

1b Jones / GabySanchez

2b Walker

3b Alvarez

c McKenry / Tony Sanchez

SS Barmes / Mercer

I say with the right sports psychologist, YES.

A legit MVP candidate supported by 3 Top-5 in the NL OPS guys in Walker, Jones and Alvarez. A full year of Marte. A full year without Barajas. And a couple platoons that should help maximize strengths while hiding weaknesses.

Of course I'd love to add a bat, but would much rather see a legit top half of the rotation starter added to help bridge the waters until The Arrival (of Cole, Taillon, et al).

Personally I'd also love to find a true pinch-hitting specialist (ala John VanderWal back in the day), though would be comfortable giving that last bench spot to Brock Holt, too.

Also wouldn't be surprised if Bucs dangle a high-end package of say Heredia or Holmes plus Hanson or Polanco for a proven corner outfielder with 30-homer potential.
