Recently I had an interesting conversation with a work colleague about the Pirates and their current off-season moves, the Loriano deal, and a host of other baseball topics. During the conversation my friend was insistent that the Pirates should make a serious run at Texas Ranger short stop Elvis Andrus. I told him that I didn't think there was anyway that the Pirates would be able to get a guy like Andrus, however my friend believes that while it would take a lot to bring him to Pittsburgh and we wouldn't have control of him for very long, it is a move the Pirates should consider. I thought I would ask the following questions to Bucs Dugout readers to get your opinion
1. Would making a run at Elvis Andrus be a good idea for the Pirates?
2. What kind of a trade if any would bring Andrus to Pittsburgh?
