The Pirates and Gaby Sanchez have reportedly avoided arbitration, coming to terms on a one-year deal worth $1.75 million plus bonuses. MLB Trade Rumors had projected that Sanchez would get $1.8 million, so this deal is right in line with that.
Sanchez is currently slated to platoon with Garrett Jones at first base next year.
