The Pirates have reportedly agreed to terms with Garrett Jones on a one-year, $4.5 million deal, avoiding arbitration. MLBTR projected that Jones would make $4.4 million, so as with the Gaby Sanchez deal yesterday, this one is pretty close to the target.
Barring a trade, Jones and Sanchez will platoon at first base for the Pirates this year.
