Maybe that isn't the best title, but I was just curious as to whether anyone thought there would be any surprises to where our prized prospects start the season. I don't foresee any big shockers coming, but I admit I haven't seen much of the lower level guys to know if they are ready to move up or not.
Cole: I think its pretty locked in that he starts at Indy and comes up when he is ready.
Tallion: A few starts in Altoona, but I don't see him spending too much time there
Hanson: I guess it depends on how you view defensive development. I guess a case could be made to start him in Altoona because his bat is ready, but I just don't see it. He starts in Bradenton and works on his approach and the glove.
Heredia: Does he spend the whole year in low A?
Polanco: He is young, no need to rush him, hopefully he put on some muscle over the offseason and he can dominate High A for a short time and move to Altoona.
Bell: I would actually like to see him start in Bradenton just because of the weather and coming off the injury. Does anyone have an update on Bell and what we might be able to expect next year?
Wilson: would like to see him start in the Majors.
Mcphereson: starts in indy and is ready to go when we need him.
Barnes: Is there a case to be made to skip him to Altoona?
Dickerson: Altoona bound.
Oliver:see Mcpherson
Morris: I would also like to see him make the squad out of camp
Kingham:low A
Mathisen: Haven't read any reports on how he is doing behind the plate, but I get the idea that he is going to be brought along very slowly.
Sanchez:Indy
Black: Indy
Pimental: Start him back at AA and hope he shows some promise
Garcia: Back to Low A. A lot of potential but a lot to work on.
Holmes:Low A
Lambo: Throw him to Indy and hope it works
Irwin: Indy.
Curry: Indy would really like to see him add some more pop this year.
Thoughts?
