Dusty Baker is done as manager of the Reds. It's currently unclear whether he was fired or whether he resigned, but I'd bet on the former. Baker had a year left on his contract.
Pirates fans obviously won't miss Baker much, although his decisions about tactics and which players to use were often sub-optimal. Hopefully, next year Reds pitchers won't throw at Pirates batters every time the two teams play one another. Of course, Reds pitching coach Bryan Price might be the best bet to replace Baker, so who knows.
