First spring training game is today and I have been fortunate enough to be at work. I have a best friend who lives 10 minutes away from Jet Blue Ballpark of the Red Sox in the Ft. Myers area. He is also a Pirates fan and has been talking to me a lot lately about baseball. He seems to know a ton about Cole and loves his upside and hears about the comparison to guys like Verlander and other hard throwing pitchers. He doesn't really check up on farm systems or anything. When I told him about Jameson he seemed like he never heard of the guy... So after the intrasquad game the future two aces both threw 2 innings and no runs. I still believe in Jameson being the better pitcher with his curveball. Jameson is only 6 months or so behind Cole in being ready for MLB with no setbacks and so forth so it is shocking to me how Cole gets so much more publicity than Jameson. With Cole having about 4 or so more mph on his fastball does everyone believe he will be the better pitcher?
