Is anyone else excited to have this guy? If you think about it, he's going to have an astronomical effect on our pitching staff. I'm sorry but Barajas was horrendous last year. But I believe that acquiring Russell is a really underrated move by the Pirates front office. The guy also has some pop in his bat and strangely; he can steal bases, but his batting average was an abysmal .211 :/. Tell me what you guys think of acquiring him and what effect do you think he'll have on our Buccos. I say, our ERA will be lower than last year's.
