Baseball America reports that Bryan Morris, Pedro Alvarez and Andy Oliver all have options in 2013. I'm pretty sure we already knew that in the cases of Alvarez and Oliver, but we all thought that Morris was out of options this year, and that appears not to be the case. That's significant, because it could affect the Pirates' bullpen construction this season -- I had been just penciling Morris into one of the opening day bullpen spots, since there's no way the Pirates would risk losing him. My guess is that he'll make the team anyway, but now the Pirates can send him back to the minors if they want.
