Michael Sanserino reports he saw Brandon Inge "leaving McKechnie Field in street clothes" this morning. It's not 100 percent clear what that means, of course, but it's a reasonably good indication the Pirates have cut him. Inge's chances of making the team diminished when the Pirates acquired John McDonald. More news as it develops.

The Pirates also cut Bryan Morris, Ivan DeJesus and Jared Goedert today.

UPDATE: Brad Hawpe was scratched from the Pirates' lineup as well.

UPDATE: The Pirates tweet that Inge was scratched today because of "lingering discomfort" after being hit with a pitch eight days ago.
