Hi all! I was wondering what Pirates fans think about Burleigh Grimes. Grimes started out his Hall of Fame career with the Pirates in September 1916, lost 16 straight decisions in 1917, before being traded to Brooklyn. He returned to Pittsburgh in 1928 and had probably the best statistical season of his career that year- career high in wins (25), games (48) and innings pitched (330.2). The next year, at age 35 he looked like he was going to better those number, until he broke his thumb against the Giants in July on a comebacker by Bill Terry.
