Bucs preview: pirates (46-30) vs mariners (34-43) 10:10 pm.

After having the day off the Pirates of Pittsburgh look to win their 5th straight game, taking on the Mariners of Seattle. The Bucs are sending Jeff Locke to the mound to continue his amazing 2013 campaign. The Pirates are coming off a sweep of the Anaheim Angels, in which Pedro Alvarez homered every single game of the series, 4 games in row. He too looks to stay hot as he and the buccos face opposing pitcher Joe Saunders. The bucs split with the Mariners in a two game series back in May.

Prediction: pirates 4-2
