Power, Jammer staffs get hammered in losses

One more season ended Saturday:

-- West Virginia lost the deciding game of its three-game series with Hagerstown, 6-2.  Luis Heredia (pictured) and Jason Creasy combined to allow 16 hits in just five and a third innings, although somehow they each gave up just three runs.  Walker Gourley went 2-4 and Josh Bell 1-3 with a double and a walk.

-- Jamestown lost to State College, 12-4, to even their best-of-three series at a game apiece.  The Jammers used five different pitchers, starting with Dovydas Neverauskas, and none escaped the carnage.  Harold Ramirez, Adam Frazier, Wyatt Mathisen and Michael Fransoso each had two hits, with Fransoso going deep.  Austin Meadows went 1-4 with a walk.
