Nick Kingham is the Bucs' #6 prospect, collecting 57% of the vote with a 3-man race for second (which should make this round interesting). Kingham seems like a really safe prospect, or at least as safe as a pitching prospect can be. He has a workhorse frame and -- unlike many of the projectable HS pitchers -- he has added some velocity to the FB since being drafted, now sitting around 93-94, to go with a good curve. His ceiling might not be quite as high as some guys still on the board but he seems like a good bet to contribute at the major league level and that could happen sooner rather than later.
As requested, I will be adding Harold Ramirez to the poll this round but if you want to vote for somebody else, you can do so in the comments. As always, there will be a section in the comments where you can still do +1 for "write ins." I'll count up the votes for any omitted player just to make sure we get the winners in the right spots. I'm thinking that I'll start off with 5 guys per poll but as we get deeper into the list we can expand it if there are lots of guys getting votes.
In the comment section, I'll put up a spot for other votes, testers and (most importantly) community discussion. I'd like to get at least 30 guys on the list but would be willing to stretch it out as long as there seems to be some interest. There was some good discussion last time and I think it will get even better as we get into more hotly contested spots. So far we have:
3. Tyler Glasnow
4. Austin Meadows
5. Alen Hanson
6. Nick Kingham
