Reese McGuire is the Bucs' #8 prospect, collecting 51% of the vote. I gave this one a second day as McGuire and Tony Sanchez were neck-and-neck at the end of day 1. McGuire took control in day 2 and wound up winning in pretty convincing fashion. Considered an excellent defensive C out of high school, McGuire had a strong debut at the plate as well. Considering the support Sanchez got this round, I'd expect him to run away with #9 unless all of McGuire's supporters really like Luis Heredia.
As requested, I will be adding Stolmy Pimentel to the poll this round and will be replacing Barrett Barnes with Clay Holmes but if you want to vote for somebody else, you can do so in the comments. As always, there will be a section in the comments where you can still do +1 for "write ins." I'll count up the votes for any omitted player just to make sure we get the winners in the right spots. I'm thinking that I'll start off with 5 guys per poll but as we get deeper into the list we can expand it if there are lots of guys getting votes.
In the comment section, I'll put up a spot for other votes, testers and (most importantly) community discussion. I'd like to get at least 30 guys on the list but would be willing to stretch it out as long as there seems to be some interest. There was some good discussion last time and I think it will get even better as we get into more hotly contested spots. So far we have:
3. Tyler Glasnow
4. Austin Meadows
5. Alen Hanson
6. Nick Kingham
7. Josh Bell8. Reese McGuire
