Bucs Dugout Community Prospect #11

Luis Heredia is the Bucs' #10 prospect, collecting 52% of the vote. Heredia had a disappointing 2013 season; he came to camp about 40 pounds overweight, causing him to miss half the season while the Pirates had him do "Sweatin' to the Oldies" or something like that. When he came back, his control was sub-par. However, He'll still just be 19 years old in 2014 and could realistically start the season in Bradenton. He has some work to do to repair his status as an elite prospect but there's still a lot of promise there. I feel like it is worth mentioning that we are now outside the team's top 10 prospects and the #1 prospect in the New York Penn League has yet to make the list. It's good to be a Pirate fan (mumbles something under his breath about AJ Burnett...)

As requested, I will be adding Blake Taylor to the poll this round but if you want to vote for somebody else, you can do so in the comments. As always, there will be a section in the comments where you can still do +1 for "write ins." I'll count up the votes for any omitted player just to make sure we get the winners in the right spots. I'm thinking that I'll start off with 5 guys per poll but as we get deeper into the list we can expand it if there are lots of guys getting votes.

In the comment section, I'll put up a spot for other votes, testers and (most importantly) community discussion. I'd like to get at least 30 guys on the list but would be willing to stretch it out as long as there seems to be some interest. There was some good discussion last time and I think it will get even better as we get into more hotly contested spots. So far we have:

1. Gregory Polanco

2. Jameson Taillon

3. Tyler Glasnow

4. Austin Meadows

5. Alen Hanson

6. Nick Kingham

7. Josh Bell

8. Reese McGuire

9. Tony Sanchez

10. Luis Heredia
