Pirates may focus now on more outfield shifts

Dilip Vishwanat

With the possibility of having three legitimate center fielders for roughly half the upcoming season, the Pirates may be looking to gain an added edge, like they did with their infield in 2013.

Pirates Prospects has an interesting article up on the possibility of the Pirates shifting their focus on shifts (I can resist anything but temptation) to the outfield.  Clint Hurdle contributes his customary enthusiasm.  The most fascinating part to me was Tim's discussion of BABIP and ISO on line drives, which the Pirates already seem to be very good at tracking down.
