Bucs Dugout Community Prospect #19

Blake Taylor is the Bucs' #18 prospect, collecting 42% of the vote. A 2nd round pick last year, the lefty had a strong debut in the GCL and was very young, only 17. Has a low-90's FB, solid velocity for a lefty and a decent curve (I'm starting to wonder if there is something to this organization preference towards CB instead of sliders...doesn't seem like we have lot of guys who lean heavily on the pitch). It wouldn't be took long ago that a guy like Taylor would have firmly been in the organization's top-10 and he is squeaking in the back of the top-20 instead.

As requested, I will be adding Wyatt Mathisen to the poll this round but if you want to vote for somebody else, you can do so in the comments. As always, there will be a section in the comments where you can still do +1 for "write ins." I'll count up the votes for any omitted player just to make sure we get the winners in the right spots. I'm thinking that I'll start off with 5 guys per poll but as we get deeper into the list we can expand it if there are lots of guys getting votes. In the comment section, I'll put up a spot for other votes, testers and (most importantly) community discussion. I'd like to get at least 20 guys on the list. This is a change from the original goal of 30. I might still go to 30 but I'm also considering stopping the list at 20 unless somebody else wants to keep it going. Feel free to talk about it in the discussion section. So far we have:

1. Gregory Polanco

2. Jameson Taillon

3. Tyler Glasnow

4. Austin Meadows

5. Alen Hanson

6. Nick Kingham

7. Josh Bell

8. Reese McGuire

9. Tony Sanchez

10. Luis Heredia

11. Harold Ramirez

12. Andrew Lambo

13. Stolmy Pimentel

14. Clay Holmes

15. Joely Rodriguez

16. JaCoby Jones

17. Barrett Barnes

18. Blake Taylor
